We offer different levels of support and you should think about what
your needs are.

For free, we offer install and registration assistance. To create a
install or registration case, go to http://support.embarcadero.com and
click the create a case button. If you send email to customer service
you are pretty much doing the same thing. You'll generally get a slower
response though.

For assistance with syntax you'll need some sort of support contract.
The best deal is to purchase support and maintenance when you purchase
your product. It includes 3 support cases and all new updates for the
next year.

We also offer annual support contracts with unlimited calls if you find

You can get a single support incident for $300. For details see:
http://support.embarcadero.com/incident I cannot imagine how this could
be a value for this sort of question, but it is an option.

The interaction with Firebird is pretty well documented.
The Delphi approach is nice, drop something on the form and it will work.
However as stated before it's not always that easy. But hopefully the vcl
will be better supported now.

One of my first mistakes was the Delphi approach:

myform := tform.create(application);
myform.showmodal;
myform.free;

This approach will not work in php. Just an example. Don't let you be
mislead. I'm pleased that the product is no longer called Delphi for PHP.

Note that your license agreement prevents you from selling Delphi for
PHP. Anyone you sell it to will not be able to register it. I cannot
comment on Jomitech's product as it is not ours, but my hunch is their
licensing is similar to ours.
